Event description: Grab your popcorn on November 1 as Density512 and Doc’s Drive In Theatre present the 1931 film Frankenstein complete with a LIVE orchestra playing Michael Shapiro’s modern score! Hailed in its time for “gruesome chill-producing and exciting drama…produced intelligently and lavishly and with a grade of photography that is superb" (Film Daily, 1931), Frankenstein still leaves today’s audiences “riveted to their seats” when accompanied by Shapiro’s score. Additionally, this screening will feature In Prism, a brand new short by filmmaker Dave Brick with an original score by Jackie Myers, director of Silent Films Out Loud.
